The singular word “Brickell” is often used to refer to the area of Brickell in Downtown Miami largely recognized as the financial nucleus of the city as well as the home of several Brickell condos that run along the street known as Brickell Avenue.  Since it’s within Downtown Miami Brickell has shopping districts in droves and lots of great sights that are often within walking distance from the Brickell homes and condos.

Speaking of homes and condos, Brickell condos tend to outnumber the amount of single family homes in Brickell although they are tucked away in quiet areas towards the inland.  It’s important to note that there are however a handful of Brickell homes near Biscayne Bay but for the most part, it’s the high rises like the highly acclaimed and contemporary ICON Brickell or the towering and ultra exclusive seventy floor Four Seasons Hotel Miami that remain the “big draw” in Brickell real estate.  Prices for Brickell real estate are surprisingly varied considering the area.

Since Brickell belongs to much larger Downtown Miami, it’s right by some of the city’s popular attractions.  Watch some live music or enjoy the breezy ambiance at the open air Bayside Marketplace, catch a Miami Heat game in the American Airlines Arena, explore fascinating works of art at MAM (Miami Art Museum) or visit Key Biscayne and Miami Beach to find even more things to do, all near Brickell.
