Fisher Island is a high-end island neighborhood residing near Miami Beach. Its closest rival being the affluent Star Island or Hibiscus Island which offer traditional access via bridge, there is limited access to Fisher Island in the sense that it can only be reached by exclusive ferry, private boat or helicopter. Its inaccessibility turns out to be one of its most valuable qualities as many of its residents are high-profile figures.
Fisher Island condos and homes are among the most valuable in the United States and include real estate types like condos, homes and villas along with mansions and penthouses. A majority of the properties are in the millions in terms of price and offers a huge amount of square footage as well as other investment options. Since the island itself is small in comparison to neighboring Miami Beach and Key Biscayne, most properties have amazing waterfront views and are located within easy walking distance of the beach.
Since access is limited to the island, Fisher Island is mostly self-sufficient. It has all the necessities in terms of luxury and safety: its own fire department, post office, food market, school and plenty of recreational activities such as golfing, sunbathing and other water sports. That being said, Miami Beach is right across a small straight so there’s always somewhere to go and something to do.
