Cristiano Piquet was born in Brazil, began racing go karts at the age of 10 and became a sensation in Kart racing, eventually winning 3 championships. Cristiano raced his way into Professional Kart and by age 19 won three of the biggest Brazilian championships in the Shifter Category, mastering 6 gears at speeds over 200 Km/h.
Cristiano was also outstanding on rally tracks, driving a GM Chevrolet Corsa and shocking the competition with his famous “flights” of car jumps at speeds over 230 Km/h. After his 3rd Championship Title in Brazil, Cristiano moved to Miami to battle for the Formula Dodge title.
During his first year in Miami, Cristiano won 10 out of 20 races and finished the season in 3rd place in the 2001 North American Championship among 129 drivers from around the world. Cristiano then raced over 40 Formula Dodge races on the best tracks in America with victories including Sebring ( 5 times winner ), Daytona ( 3 times winner ), Moroso ( 3 times winner ), Lime Rock (2 times winner ). These victories lead to a prestigious invitation to be the official driver of the Lamborghini GTR project for the 2004 American Le Mans. With this success, Cristiano made the transition from formula cars to sports cars and would go on to race for Lamborghini, Ferrari, Maserati, BMW, Pontiac and currently (2010, 2011) races in the Porsche GT3 Cup in Brazil.
After racing in 10 countries, Cristiano settled in Miami to focus on personal Real Estate investments, leading to a new passion for Real Estate. As Cristiano did with his racing, he took his passion to the next level and became a Licensed Realtor. Cristiano’s work lead to recognition as a “Top Producer" having sold the most properties for 5 years in a row.
This half-decade of success as a Realtor lead Cristiano to form his own Real Estate company, Piquet Realty. Piquet Realty now has alliances in 75 countries, with both focus and fame in Brazil. Piquet Realty has partnerships with luxury brands such as Artefacto, Porsche, and Ornare. Cristiano Piquet is often invited for appearances on Brazil’s nationally broadcast “The Amaury Jr. Show”. Piquet Realty is fast becoming the number one company specifically for Brazilians who want Real Estate in Miami with the lifestyle to match.
To better manage the explosive success of Piquet Realty, Cristiano turned his company into a group. As of 2010, Piquet Group has the following companies: Piquet Realty, Piquet Concierge & Property Management, Piquet Studio+Design & Home Improvements, Piquet University, Piquet Exotics (Cars, Boats, Planes), Piquet Marketing, and Piquet Racing (Currently with cars at Nascar Car #8 and at Porsche GT3 Cup Brasil Car #305). There is also the Piquet Law Firm, founded by Cristiano's brother, Alex Piquet, Esq. a fully independent firm providing legal services to the Piquet Group.
To date, there is no other known real estate company in Miami offering such an array of services, earning Piquet Group its tagline, “Your gateway to Miami & NY. ”In 2011 the Miami Chamber of Commerce nominated Cristiano for their prestigious Real Estate Achiever & Leaders Award.
Cristiano spends his time between running his 8 companies, on the race track where he continues to drive and compete at the Brazilian Porsche GT3 Cup (2010-2011), and personally showing multi-million dollar properties to clients by car, boat, and airplane. Cristiano is also the only broker in Miami to fly his clients around on his Airplane to show Miami from another angle.
